Elevate English Language Teachers membership and directory  Terms and Conditions

This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by English with Abigail (“Organization”) and you (“Member”), and comes into effect as of your first payment.

• Member Benefits

As part of membership with Elevate you will receive access to the membership website here on englishwithabigail.com, monthly tasks that are emailed to you, the online community here, as well as mini-workshops on relevant subjects.

• Membership Dues

Elevate is a paid subscription of $10 per month or $120 USD a year. Payments are accepted via credit card, Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription to Elevate at any time. You can manage this through your payment provider, or email abbie@englishwithabigail.com for details.

If you are planning on cancelling, please ensure you give yourself plenty of time before your next payment goes through.

Removal

Cancellation can happen at any time but removal from the community and directory happens after your subscription is no longer active.

Cancellation of your subscription will result in removal from the directory and the community space and removal from any subsequent communications about the community. You will lose access to monthly tasks, mini-workshops and any other materials from the membership.

For example, if your monthly payment usually takes place on the 15th of the month and you cancel your subscription on the 5th, you will be removed on the 16th.

Refunds

Due to the digital nature of Elevate, refunds are not granted.

• Restrictions

Members are required to be over the age of 18 years old to join.

The Member agrees that they will not:

• Share their login information with non-members
• Reproduce any of the information received as part of their membership and share it with non-members
• Post inappropriate, inaccurate or offensive content to membership forums and discussions
• Sharing materials that are false, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, or offensive
• Violent language or images
• Disrespect toward differences of opinion
• Public or private harassment of any kind
• Trolling, insulting comments, and personal or political attacks
• Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without permission
• Sustained disruption of discussion
• Publicly sharing information explicitly intended to be private
• Advocating or encouraging any of the above behaviour

• Liability

The Member will not hold the Organization liable for any tangible or intangible damage that might happen to them while participating in the membership.

The Member agrees that the Organization cannot guarantee any results from their membership. Any negative or positive results that might occur during the membership are the result of the Member’s own personal choices. 

• Privacy and confidentiality 

In order to keep Elevate a safe space, members agree that content in the community and member's identities will remain confidential and won't be used in any external channels, materials, or media, unless otherwise specified by Elevate and related parties, and with permission from the members featured.

• Content

All right, title and interest in any proprietary content developed by Abigail Fulbrook as well as any processes or procedures relating to that content, is and shall at all times remain the sole and exclusive property of Abigail Fulbrook

This content is for your personal use only. You may freely use the procedures and techniques demonstrated in the content (a.k.a the knowledge you gain from the community content) for any commercial or personal purpose.

You may NOT use, copy or publish the content for any commercial purpose. You must NOT redistribute the content without explicit permission from Abigail Fulbrook, and any members featured in the materials.

• Membership Termination

The Organization has a right to terminate the Member’s membership if any of the terms and the conditions of this Agreement are violated. The Member can terminate their membership at any point and for any reason and will not be charged for their next billing cycle. 

By clicking the pay button, the Member confirms that they have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
